CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF - you can still make it - just!
CARAVAN SALON DÜSSELDORF, the leading trade fair for the caravanning industry, opens today (28th August to 5th September 2010) in Düsseldorf. In ten halls, 580 exhibitors from 26 countries are presenting the world's largest range covering all aspects of mobile holidays.
Of the total of approximately 135 European caravan and motor home brands, 120 are represented at the show, plus accessories companies and all the manufacturers of base vehicles. The spectrum of the vehicles presented extends from mini-caravans for a motorcycle up to the luxury travel motor home, plus holidays and much more. Over the next 10 days the organizers expect around 160,000 visitors.
And also not to be missed - GDS International Shoe Fair
10th - 12th September 2010, GDS - the International Event for Shoes & Accessories opens its doors for the 2011 Spring/Summer ordering season. Some 780 exhibitors (1,800 collections) from 34 countries will show progressive and classic premium brands, trendy quality brands, colourful street and sportswear, as well as the latest kids fashion, during the three days of the trade fair.
Visitors, however, no longer come just because of the broad selection of fashion offered in the exhibition halls. Over the past several seasons GDS has increasingly established itself as a groundbreaking information, trend and networking platform for the shoe industry.

International Summit Meeting of the Solar and Glass Industry in Düsseldorf at glasstec 2010
Solarpraxis AG and Messe Düsseldorf will bring together solar and glass industry representatives at the launch of the new "SOLAR MEETS GLASS" conference on the 27thth September 2010 as a side event to accompany the two trade fairs glasstec and solarpeq. and 28
This 1st Industry Summit for "Solar Production, Logistics and Technology" brings together the solar and glass industry for the first time in order to jointly address current issues in both sectors and attune both parties' needs. After providing an overview of the market and available technologies for photovoltaics and glass the conference will focus on the topics quality, cost reductions and logistics.
The conference specifically targets producers of thin-film and crystalline photovoltaics, solar system integrators and producers of mounting systems for PV; add to this glass producers, system suppliers of glass applications and glass mounting systems as well as upstream suppliers to the glass and solar sectors. With this it addresses both target groups of the trade fair "alliance" comprising solarpeq - International Trade Fair for Solar Production Equipment - and glasstec, the leading international trade fair for the glass sector.
The conference runs all day on 27th September 2010 and until midday on 28th September, the first day of glasstec and solarpeq. The venue is the Congress Centre Düsseldorf East (CCD East) with direct access to the exhibition halls. Registrations for the conference are welcome at www.solarpeq.com. REHACARE INTERNATIONAL 2010 set to Showcase Industry's Best
From 6th to 9th October 2010, the international rehabilitation and care market will once again convene for the biggest trade fair event in their calendar, the REHACARE INTERNATIONAL in Düsseldorf. Around 750 exhibitors from 29 countries will provide a comprehensive overview of the aids and services required by people with special needs, in need of care and the chronically ill to make their daily lives easier. 30,000 square metres of exhibition space in Halls 3-6, 7 and 7a have been leased to exhibitors. REHACARE 2010 will showcase a range of products comparable to that presented in 2008. One in three exhibitors is coming from abroad, with the UK, Denmark, France, Taiwan and the US being represented in Düsseldorf by large joint presentations.
The REHACARE provides solutions for almost every type of disability and for all areas of life, including mobility aids, aids for daily living, assistive equipment for nursing and home care, communications technology, living spaces, ideas for leisure, travel and sports.
