IFEMA Madrid

In 2004 Feria de Madrid celebrated its 25 th birthday. From rather humble beginnings in 1980 when boundless enthusiasm was one of the major assets, IFEMA today boasts first-class trade fair facilities and a consolidated, heterogeneous exhibition calendar with 70 events of which over 50% are truly international. Further investments are driven by a spirit of innovation and ensure the permanent updating and maintenance of the Juan Carlos I Exhibition Centre as well as the continuous growth which by 2006 will result in 12 well appointed, spacious exhibition halls.

Madrid is the not only the capital of Spain but also the epicenter of the Iberian Peninsula. It serves as a hub for the country's road network and is a key spot for international connections. Madrid's diverse and vibrant art, music and restaurant culture has something to offer for everybody and the relaxed Mediterranean attitude to life ensures that after doing business there is enough time and opportunity left to enjoy the many cultural and culinary offerings.
